1. The reason why every year, Alex Nation’s ex wishes her a happy wedding anniversary.

The issue of the recurring ex can cause problems in some relationships, but it doesn’t seem to bother former Bachie winner, Alex Nation, one little bit.

Alex revealed on Jay, Foz and Alex from 88.3 Southern FM that she is still on great terms with ex-husband Joel, who is the father of her six-year-old son Elijah.

“We disagreed on a lot of things but we agreed on everything that’s to do with Elijah . . . every year on November 11th he will wish me a happy wedding anniversary,” she said.

Alex continued, saying that “I wanted to do it for Elijah, but I knew it wasn’t right at the same time.”

Thank God she listened to her heart, because otherwise we wouldn’t have had the short-lived, at one point chocolate-covered glory that was Richie and Alex, and then the controversy that was Alex and now girlfriend Maegan Luxa, who are now as happy as Larry.

It’s funny how life works out sometimes.

2. Casey Donovan says she’s ready to meet someone, after her troubling relationship experience six years ago.

At 29, Casey Donovan has had a whirlwind of a life. In 2004, she famously won the second season of Australian Idol, but recently it was revealed that it was also the year she was cat fished by a female friend. Eek.

Although the ordeal left her overcome with feelings of distrust, have no fear; Casey remains positive that her love life is only on the up and up.

Casey has made the choice to avoid dating websites this second time round, and is ready for a new and real relationship.

“I’m almost 30. I’ve never been in a relationship except a fake one for six years so yes, I’d love to meet someone when the time’s right," she told News.com.au.

3. While Kim K had her baby shower, the forgotten Kardashian baby had a mermaid at her birthday.

In predictable Kardashian fashion, an excessively lavish baby shower was thrown and it was more than we could have imagined. Famous guests included Chrissy Teigan and Jen Atkin, as well as the Kardashian and Jenner sisters themselves.

They made sure to keep their fans in the loop by uploading a stream of constant Snapchats, and the set up was… extravagant. Just take a look for yourselves.

Meanwhile, Blac Chyna celebrated baby Dream Kardashian’s first birthday, and we think she may have successfully upstaged Kim’s shower. I mean, Kim’s shower was frivolously beautiful, vibrant etc. etc., but was there a mermaid present?

Yes, Dream is sometimes accidentally referred to as “the forgotten Kardashian”, and for that we apologise. But after her killer party, we promise to never again forget about you Dream, you magical little mermaid.

4. More of your favourite Bachelors and Bachelorettes are 100 per cent maybe joining the Bachelor In Paradise cast.

Still in the withdrawl phase following the end of 2017's Bachelor/Bachelorette seasons, Australia is currently losing its mind over Channel 10's upcoming spin off, Bachelor In Paradise.

And while six of our favourite former Bach contestants - Tara Pavlovic, Keira Maguire, Davey Lloyd, Apollo Jackson, Laurina Fleure and Michael Turnbull - have been confirmed for the reality TV dating show, the internet is convinced they're not the only ones headed for some fun in the sun.

As it stands, certain websites are claiming every man and his dog is headed to Fiji for the season's filming, from recent Bachelorette douche bags villains, Blake Colman and Sam 'cans' Cochrane, to Luke McLeod (a.k.a George Clooney), Jarrod Woodgate (bless) and Florence Moerenhout.

In a statement made to Mamamia, Channel 10 says it is unclear as to whether any of the above will be in the series.

“Laurina, Keira, Tara, Davey, Michael and Apollo have been confirmed as the first six Bachelor in Paradise participants. Ten will neither confirm or deny further speculation, but can reveal that many more of Australia’s favourite Bachelor characters are ready to head to the tropical resort in Paradise. Let the games of love begin," the statement reads.

We're ready to take this as unofficial confirmation at least some, if not all of our favourite Bach rejects will appear on Bachelor In Paradise. Let the games begin indeed.

British singer, Rita Ora has just given the rest of us permission to do what we otherwise would only dream of... to leave the house in a bathrobe with a towel on our head and it not be quite strange.

Appearing on the red carpet at this week's MTV European Video Music Awards as a part of her hosting duties, the 26-year-old looked impossibly glam in a white, fluffy, floor length robe, and a matching head towel.

Rita nailed, nay, slayed, the "fresh out of the shower" look, complete with diamond earrings, an obtrusively large diamond necklace, and white heels, because fashion.

To be honest, this is not all that different from our usual Friday night in get up, sans the face mask and packet(s) of Twisties.
