There is something truly elegant about an intimate wedding. Retired AFL star Adam Goodes married long-time partner Natalie Croker over the weekend in a secret wedding.
The Daily Telegraph report the couple held the ceremony on the NSW south coast in front of only 20 guests. The intimacy of the event will soon be outshone by the impending party where there are said to be over 200 guests.
Goodes has been notoriously tight-lipped about his relationship with Croker and their life together in a North Bondi home. There is only one image of the pair on his official Instagram where they were snapped at a David Jones party five weeks ago.
Goodes captioned the photo with a reference to Croker as “this beauty”. There was also a hashtag used that said “#monthtogo”.
Perhaps our tight-lipped sporting great just couldn’t help but hint at the wedding? The former player was said to have popped the question over the Easter weekend this year.
It has been reported the couple have been together for over two years.
