Hardworking and well deserving, Adam Dovine scored a gig as the resident carpenter for Better Homes and Gardens and said I do to his partner Lisa Lamond six months later. Phew, are you keeping up?
Ever since then it's been all cheesy grins and honeymoons, as the duo moved to Sydney to start their new life together. And now, that means adding a baby to the mix.
The couple spoke exclusively to New Idea about the "blessing" that is their first child, due next May.
"It felt real when we had our 13 week scan. It was the most amazing thing I’ve seen in my life," said Adam.
HR manager Lisa has had to cope with ongoing sickness during her first trimester, before she was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum.
Now at 15 weeks and with most of the pain subsiding, Adam and Lisa are ready to start the next chapter of their lives.
And we wish them well for it.
