trend
Case in point: camouflage.
If like me, you were a teenager in the 90s you will remember -fondly or *cough* otherwise – camouflage print in all it’s cargo pant glory. It was one of those trends that grew exponentially; teenagers of both sexes wore it, mums and dads wore it, kids wore it, even your pet dog probably had a camouflage print collar.
It was everywhere then and it’s the surprise new trend for autumn/winter.
If you’re looking for someone to blame for the camo resurrection, go directly to influential fashion designer Thakoon and his Autumn/Winter ’12 collection and if you want to give trend a try (or aren’t scarred from the first time round) keep reading for 3 ways to style it without looking like an army reserve.

I was a teen in the 90s and hated fashion-camo the first time around. Still do.
The idea of wearing a print that is intended to hide you so you dont get shot.... My imagination is too much for that.
Plain army, though: I wear my dads old parachute jacket as my dogwalker. It is more retro than military, though.
