There's one Brownlow red carpet trend that has Lisa Wilkinson scared for the Logies.

Lisa Wilkinson is no stranger to a red carpet, but last night’s Brownlow fashion even made her anxious.

While each of the partners and wives looked positively gorgeous in their exxy gowns, one particular trend worried the 56-year-old mother, who’s beginning to think about the 2017 Logie Awards.

That is, The Plunging Neckline.

“The plunging neckline is back it’s only about 8 inches wide,” the Today host anxiously told Karl Stefanovic.

“I’m going to struggle with that at The Logies.”

While Karl, 42, tried to reassure his co-host, "you'll be okay," the 2016 Order of Australia recipient was adamant the trend is one she won't feel comfortable attempting.

Some of the big names who subscribed to the red carpet statement included two of the country's biggest style icons, Nadia Bartel and Jesinta Campbell. This year, both ladies also made the leap from floor-length dresses to edgier jumpsuits.

That said, more traditional princess frocks were also a feature of the night, with Geelong Cats' captain Joel Selwood's partner, Brit Davis, wearing a beautiful muted pink gown.

Brit was joined by the likes of Jessie Hultgren, the partner of Saints star David Armitage, and Linda Weatherlake, the partner of North Melbourne young gun, Jack Ziebell.

Regardless of what trend the WAGs went for, one thing's for sure.

They all looked bloody beautiful.
