Better start training…
On Sunday 14th June 2015 Run 2 Cure Neuroblastoma will once again be covering The Domain and The Botanical Gardens with thousands of fearless runners and little heroes.
During Run 2 Cure 2014 we raised over $200,000 for research and saw over 2200 people participate in the event. This year we are aiming for $250,000 and over 3000 people from elite runners to families and people just wanting a great day out.
Run 2 Cure Neuroblastoma was born out of a desire to change the outcome for kids with Neuroblastoma, the original founder of the run being Lucy Jones who with other members of Neuroblastoma Australia held the first event in 2013. Lucy tragically lost her daughter to the disease in 2010 at the age of just 2 ½ missing the birth of her little brother Jamie by just 5 days.

Neuroblastoma is the leading cause of cancer deaths in children under the age of 5 with current survival rates less than 50%. Together we can change this and Run 2 Cure is your opportunity to help us through competing and raising funds for research.
The Run 2 Cure consists of 3 fun runs – 10k, 5k and 3k as well as a 1km super heroes fun walk which is for children five and under and their families where we can dress up to represent our little heroes, those that have fought and won, those who despite the bravest of frights have gained their wings and those that are still fighting along with all their little brothers, sisters and friends and families that have been with them on their journey.
