Oh yes. And I’m Kevin Rudd. I’ve had many a whinge in the past about celebrities lying about how they maintain their looks. There’s a great story in the UK Mail that backs me up – they’ve spoken to Hollywood trainers who dish some spectacular dirt on ‘un-named’ stars and the batshit crazy things they do to stay skinny.
Like the star of Cold Mountain who, on set, would only eat boiled eggs. Three per day. And the actress who didn’t eat food, just coffee and lettuce. And how Paris Hilton – and others – go to restaurants and don’t order food, just mineral water which they sip while their dining companions chow down.
Or the stars who check into clinics and get hooked up to IV drips to avoid eating all together. And the laxatives and the drugs and the cigarettes….oh what healthy lives they lead. And for what? To have bones sticking out on the red carpet?
‘I don’t diet. I just have a fast metabolism.”

Oh dear me. This is not a good look. She may have a fast metabolism but sitkcy-outy bones like that are a sign that something may not be right.
I have friends who are naturally very thin and bony, but none of them look like this.
I'm sure Joely was bigger than this at some point (I use the term "bigger" very loosely) and she looked great, so something is definitely up.
Joely looks underweight to me - and I'm 19, 5'4" and 42kg. I'm naturally small and I've been fighting against it my whole life - unsuccessfully, I might add. But my shoulder blades etc. don't stick out like that...it seems difficult to believe that at her age, it would be her metabolism. But I suppose everyone is different and if she does have an eating, she needs support not ridicule.
That said, I have to disagree with Dataceptionist - Keira Knightley looks just like me and I can personally vouch for the fact that I'm not anorexic/bulimic/in any way trying to actively maintain a smaller-than-average look. Keira doesn't have that gaunt look in her face, her skin doesn't look unhealthy and from what I've seen she's always been pretty tiny. Be careful not to assume that all small women are that way on purpose.
People should never DIET to be a size 0 - unless nature made you that way, it's never going to look right and you'll never be healthy. But I just can't gain weight, so I don't appreciate people calling me anorexic when I'm not.
