When Project Runway met Polygamist wives....
You might have just read this headline and thought? Huh? Wha?
Well, Tim Gun is the 'mentor' on the US version of pay TV show Project Runway (I watched the first ep of the Oz version....did you like?) and there's a big case in America right now where police raided a big polygamy ranch and took hundreds of children into protective custody along with their mothers. Many of the children have just been returned.
Apart from the obvious tragedy of the case on many levels far too complex to get into in this light-hearted post, this made me giggle. I love Tim Gunn. I want him to come and critique my tracksuits.
Very amusing. I love Tim's voice! And his laugh.
I have to admit, when I saw this case on the tv I took a double take at the outfits and hairstyles. Very 'Little House on the Praire'.
As you said Mia, this is a serious, tragic case for the people involved, but on the lighter side, I love a good makeover, and these poor women are definitely in need of one. I agree with Tim's suggestions!

This is very funny! I love Tim Gunn also. did anyone see his spin off show called 'Tim Gunn's guide to style' it was fantasic. It was a US version of 'What not to Wear' and he actually cridin one of the episodes when the big reveal happened! so cute
