A book. A really good book.

I have this friend called Zoe. She is very clever. Many years ago, I hired her to be a beauty editor at Cosmo and she's gone on to be even more spectacular than I knew she was always going to be. First, she brought an astonishingly fresh and original voice to the often hackneyed world of beauty writing. Then, she started a blog called Fruity Beauty. In her spare time, she wrote a book about the beauty industry - a brilliant novel that is a rollicking good read.
Last week, I launched Zoe's book in front of an audience of beauty editors and other industry types. My speech was sensational, especially the part where I didn't realise my dress was tucked into the top of my stockings.
You can see photos from the launch here. And buy the book at any bookshop. Run don't walk.

I think Zoe Foster is absolutely MAGNIFICENT. She is an amazing writer, and I am loving every second of 'Air Kisses' (just as I am your website, Mia!).

It looks like a deliberate asymmetrical thing you have going on there...But where were your friends Mia, didn't anyone tell you? You wouldn't have been able to see under your gorgeous bump ;)

Finally I've seen a photo of you pregnant! You look GORGEOUS!! I can't believe you give Nicole or Angelina a sideways glance when you look so great. And NO tracksuit. Well done to you. Everyone probably thought you'd given the dress a quirky little touch with the tuck-in to show off your bump more.
I'll be ducking down to the book shop this afternoon to check out the book.

i'm with Nicole on this one... i'm sure you posted things like "i look as big as a house" or something along those lines. erm... i'll concede you may *feel* that way, but that's as true as Demelza being fat, REALLY... you look *fantastic*! :)

Mia, you look fabulous!
As for Zoe's book - I have it on order at my local bookshop (I live in a backwater, so had to order).

Mia, I LOVE that you have shown us this, you could have quietly hidden your 'dress tuck' incident, but instead posted a blog and attached the incriminating pics- you are a classic.
That's why we love ya- your great sense of humour and ability to laugh at yourself. Plus you make us feel normal when we do equally embarrassing stuff.
Keep up the good work!!
p.s you look lovely in yellow

Hey Mia - am definitely loving the dress tuck, you're onto a new trend and you just watch, every pregnant mother will be doing it and then it will get into mainstream, you just watch!!!!
I'm so excited about Zoe's book too, I've got it coming this week and I will be curled up on the sofa reading it this weekend. I'll be chatting about it in my website's newsletter next week too.
And yes JLo is right, that's why we love you ...
Keep up the trendsetting Mia.
