The hip-hop album Victoria Beckham's record label didn't ever want us to hear has leaked.

The noughties were a rough time for Victoria Beckham.

Not only did she face weeks of controversy surrounding her husband’s supposed affair with personal assistant Rebecca Loos, and pioneer the world’s most questionable, and copied haircut, she also entered a sort of adolescence period of her life. The transition between Spice Girl and bona-fide fashion designer was never going to be an easy one.

Beckham has spent the last decade carefully cultivating her post-Posh Spice image. And it has worked a treat. Until today.

Oh, those were the days. Images via Getty.

Because now we have been gifted with the knowledge Beckham tried her hand at some alternative music genres during her formative years. The result? An album that is sure to go down in pop culture history: Victoria Beckham's hip hop album.

The album, Come Together, which was recorded in 2003, has been leaked on Youtube and contains 17 tracks (read: Absolute bangers).

With lyrics like,"Looking out my window/ Hoping to see you turn the corner/I know that you won't show/Still I sit here waiting for you," from titular track, 'So Cold', we're not sure why the album Beckham co-wrote with her former BFF Damon Dash was never released. Because it's obviously a lyrical goldmine.

“Because Victoria’s record company aren’t happy about the fact that she came over to New York to work with me they are putting out stories. Before anyone’s even heard the album they were making things up," Dash told the Evening Standard in 2003. He claimed the reason the album was never released was because her record label didn't 'approve of the new sound'.

"I heard a story that Victoria was calling herself the female Eminem. That’s just dumb. She never said that."

Come Together has surfaced on Youtube after the demo disks were auctioned off on Ebay in April.

The hip-hop album is apparently one of two unreleased Beckham albums. The other, Open Your Eyes was also shelved once her self-titled debut album flopped.

Beckham didn't let this get her down though, since then she has built her fashion empire. How much things change.
