Taylor Swift may be pop’s brightest star, but she’s not about to forget the people who supported her before the fame and fortune.
The megastar took some time out of her busy schedule to fulfil her maid-of-honour duties at her best friend Britany Maack’s wedding last month. In her touching speech, Taylor reveals she and the groom Benjamin LaManna also go way back, having attended preschool together at the age of four.
“He would chase her and pursue her through middle school and junior high and high school, and their paths would diverge, and then come back together.
“It would be so magically unpredictable, but at the same time, so incredibly fated just like the best love stories are.”

In the wedding video shared on Vimeo, Taylor is seen embracing, laughing and dancing with the couple throughout their big day, labelling her steadfast relationship with Britany as her “favourite accomplishment”.
“My favourite accomplishment of my entire life is that everything in my life has changed except for me and Britany.
“She was my partner in crime at Brownie’s sleepaway camp and she was my date to the Grammys. And little did either of us know that prince charming for Britany would be the kid that sat next to me in class with a bowl cut and a Lego lunchbox.”

"Brownies" does not need an apostrophe - it is the American term for Girl Guides.
The second youngest age group of Girl Scouts in the USA (we do call all age groups 'Girl Guides' in Australia now). The apostrophe is needed, but after the 's' ie Brownies' sleepover :)
