Melbourne Cup marks the unofficial start to the silly season, which means champagne, parties, more champagne and catching up with every single person you’ve ever met before December 25 clocks over.
It’s an intense time of year so the last thing you need is a high maintenance, time-consuming beauty routine so I’m going to show you how you can create two easy day to night makeup looks using just one eye and lip palette.
Whether you’re a low-key lady who just wants a couple of makeup tricks to look more ‘done up’ at night or want to switch up your makeup routine, read on for four simple day to night makeup looks.
Just as an FYI, you should know that this post is sponsored by Napoleon. But all opinions expressed by the author are 100% authentic and written in their own words.
LOOK 1: DAY.
Step one: using the neutral cream shadow in the Napoleon Perdis Prismatic Eye Shadow Quad ‘Imperial’, sweep the entire lid in this colour.
Step two: using the same brush apply a small amount of the brown to the outer corner of your eye, blend inwards.
Step three: dip an angled eyeliner brush into the black shade and draw on close to the lashes. This shadow is super easy to apply and great for eyeliner novices. Remember to lead with the shorter end of the brush for more control.
Step four: apply the pink shade of lip gloss to your lips. I mixed in a small amount of the pinky-brown too.
