Dear Nicky,
Can you please help me find a decent pair of swimmers for this weekend? I’m going away with friends and desperately need a new pair. I like the retro look but will consider anything! Oh and as it’s for this weekend I need it to be from somewhere I can go to buy in my lunch break.
Carla.
Dear Carla,
Well, summer is definitely upon us and the annual nightmare of shopping for new cossies can (and does) strike fear into the sanest of women. But it sounds like you’ve got your sanity in check and are just in need of a good pair of togs for the weekend. I’ve got some good news for retro lovers: it’s a style that suits most body shapes and there are stacks of cute 50s styles in store this year to choose from.
Without knowing anything about your bootylicious bits, I’ve chosen styles that I reckon even Marilyn would’ve rocked back in the day. As for nicking out on your lunch break to pick up a pair, I’ve tried to include labels that are available in most department stores as well as online retailers that fast delivery turnaround times (The Iconic can deliver within three hours).
May the force be with you.

I love Targets ruched halter top in Autumn Haze. I've been looking for years for something supportive and cute and this totally fits the bill. Would highly recommend it!!! If it can stun my hubby, I call it a win!
(Btw I'm a 10f)
I'm such a dork by comparison - I only wear my black board shorts and pink rashie - only because I am very pale and anything else I would get sunburned in VERY quickly!!
When we get to Hawaii we're doing heaps of kayaking/snorkelling/swimming in waterfalls and zip lining into them (sorry, I can't help boasting about it!) so a rashie and board shorts are more comfortable to wear, for me anyway, and I don't have to worry as much about turning into a lobster.
