We all love a spray tan disaster story, but this one wins.

Gemma Colley just gave the mothers of Facebook a very good reason to laugh out loud.

The UK mother of two posted this spray tan fail to the social media site.

“From one mum to another, I’d like to let you know about my epic fail of fails,” she said.

“Yesterday I had a spray tan, a few hours later I breastfed my little boy. Cue 5 o’clock shadow and a very guilty mummy.”

“Lesson to you all. Don’t do this.”

The post has been shared over 100,000 times and has received more than 12,000 comments.

However, it’s also prompted others to share their tales of woe involving fake tan and little tackers.

Another mother confessed she had a similar experience.

“I fell asleep with my little boy and this was the outcome after doing my tan,” another woman said.

And it also happens to toddlers.

“This is my little Niece she was just over 2 years old here who also found my fake tan!” one user posted.

Ah, bless. Luckily that stuff comes off. Eventually.
