Sofia Richie – the daughter of Lionel – is an 18-year-old fashion model. Oh, and she also dated a little-known popstar by the name of Justin Bieber once upon a time.
Apparently, the latter is enough to put her on the receiving end of disgusting vitriol and online abuse almost entirely from jealous “beliebers”.
You see, since news of the relationship broke in early September, Sofia’s Instagram images have been mercilessly trolled and flooded with a stream of snake emojis.
Despite the fact that the pair broke up within weeks of their romance going public, the hate has only gathered momentum.
The teenager has bit her lip while comments like "you'll only ever be Justin's side ho" and "attention seeking sl*t" have run rampant on her page.
Until now, that is.
"When you get called something enough I guess it becomes a part of your story," Sofia wrote to her 1.8 million Instagram fans in the early hours of Tuesday morning, adding: "So thank u."
With the pointed caption, is quite possibly the world's most epic revenge photo shoot, in which every image captures Sofia covering herself in the slimy creatures.
