Kim Kardashian and Kanye West threw their baby girl North West her first birthday party.
And it was so Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
How? By hosting a miniature music festival for their one-year-old. We’re talking customised Yeezus T-shirts for all the kids, tee-pees, on-stage performances from Jaden Smith and Kylie Jenner, and a giant, carnival-sized Ferris wheel.
It was called Kidchella (that’s a play on the grown-up music festival Coachella, and yes Kanye West came up with that).
Baby North wore an adorable festival inspired outfit:
Yeah, we’re pretty sure this one-year-old has a better wardrobe than us. And here she is wearing it alongside her mum and dad:

The North West Fest was held in Kourtney Kardashian’s back-yard. Kids (presumably famous and/or wealthy Hollywood ones) just roamed the grounds getting their tiny faces painted, their tiny hair braided, and their tiny t-shirts tie-dyed.
The kids were also serenaded by Aunties Kendall and Kylie:
If you’re feeling like it’s a bit extreme for a first birthday, remember this: these are the people who had a giant gold toilet at their wedding. They don’t do normal. They do extreme. So of course their first child had an entire birthday festival.
The only question is, what will her second birthday be like?

I don't have a problem with this at all I think it's rather cute and it's easy for us to all judge because we simply don't have the money to do that who says what we would do if we did. My sons first bday party had 30 people, a ball pit, a colouring station, bubble wands galore, hula hoops, TV set up playing kids dancing & music, we had BBQ food, kids food, cake smash, cake fight lol it was great fun we even had a friend whosxa photographer take photos it was so much fun it was a celebration of life, of our child and the year that was, of being first time parents and surviving such a life change it was a celebration to all the family & friends that offered help, supported us and was just there for us during that year. My sister thought it was overboard and you know what I don't care what type of person judges a party someone else throws with their own money, my cousin in law threw a party with bouncy castle, baby zoo & fairy face painters and a Tshirt decorating station it was soooo much fun!!! People judged her too but you know what if you can why not?!? It's just a party if that's what they wanted for their one year old so be it.
Someone needs to tell Khloe it's culturally insensitive to wear Native American headdress unless you are Native American
