I would love to see some sort of control on bumper stickers and writing on cars in general. They already control offensive licence plates and billboards so why not other things?
I've often seen stickers like 'F.... happiness' (written over a colourful rainbow) or parodies of the popular family stickers saying 'I couldn't give a f... about your family' and pictures of family members in sexual positions. Add that to a lovely one on a car near us that said 'F....ing B...ing' in really large script across the whole of the rear windscreen (that car was a family wagon with a toddler seat - nice!)
It's really fun trying to explain all this to your kids as you sit behind them for very long minutes at the traffic lights.
Black humour at its very best. Possibly not for public consumption, but clever none the less. Quentin Tarantino would be wishing he had thought of it....
