Good News: Her aim is zero breast cancer deaths by 2030.

Sarah Murdoch is Australia’s much loved model, actress, TV present and mum to two cute boys. When she isn’t gracing the red carpets, she is lending her name to worthwhile charities.

This year marks the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s (NBCF) 20^th anniversary. For the occasion, NBCF  acknowledges the achievements of individuals and organisations that have significantly advanced the NBCF cause.

Sarah Murdoch, as NBCF patron, hosts the awards. Murdoch says: “It is our goal to reach zero breast cancer deaths by 2030, and by taking an active role, each of these individuals and organisations are helping to change the future.”

In addition to her work with NBCF, Murdoch recently joined the Board of Directors on the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. Murdoch has been an ambassador for the institute for 14 years. The institute chairman, Mr Leigh Clifford AO, said, “Sarah’s passion for child health research and influence in the community would support the board in shaping its future direction.”

Situated at The Royal Children’s Hospital, Murdoch Childrens Research Institute is the largest child health research institute in Australia and is at the forefront of child health research both nationally and worldwide.
