Former Biggest Loser contestant Sam Rouen has ruled out an appearance on The Bachelor – for the best possible reason. The 27-year-old fire-fighter has found love.
Rouen told Confidential that he recently started dating flight attendant Daniella Schot. And judging by Ms Schot’s Facebook profile picture, the pair are besotted with each other.
“I’ve just started seeing someone recently so I don’t think I’ll be appearing on The Bachelor, as fun as that would be,” he said. “I have trouble talking to one girl let alone a dozen.”
Rouen won The Biggest Loser Australia in 2008 after shedding 71 kilograms - or half of his body weight - on the show. This year, he posed for the 2015 Firefighters Calendar, which raises money for sick children.
Earlier this year, Rouen dated fellow fitness fanatic Natalie Pagett after the pair met in the weights room of their local gym.
He previously opened up to Woman’s Day about his fear of never finding love: “I tried not to think much of relationships. I’d figured I wasn’t ever going to be lucky in that department and basically wrote it off,” he said.
He has made no comments about why the relationship ended. However we're glad Rouen's now making up for lost time - and best wishes to the (adorable) couple.
