This is what the world's first transgender doll looks like.

The doll in question was discovered by a mother in Argentina when she gave the pint-sized fairy to her three-year-old daughter. She took to Facebook to express her confusion over the matter, before the pictures went viral.

Argentinian parents flew into a rage over the doll, which may have been unintentionally manufactured this way, saying it may “alter their children’s sexuality.”

However, the Argentinian transgender community has noted that dolls like that could have made their childhood lives easier. Some in newspapers, TV and radio across the country have argued that the doll could be a positive representation of sexual diversity for children.

“It doesn’t matter to a child whether their toy has male genitalia or not,” child psychologist Ricardo Rodulfo said. “The idea causes more disturbance among adults.”
