The Emmy’s were on a couple of days ago, and some of the ridiculously obvious questions I was getting asked in the office gave me serious cause for concern. Questions like: “Is Breaking Bad about vampires?” and “House of Cards. Nah… I’m just not that into poker”.
Some people say I know too much about television.
I say I have my priorities in order.
Either way, I decided that it was imperative I provide a cheat sheet on the TV you should be watching (or TV that should at least be on you radar).
TV fans, please know, this is a highlight list only. I couldn’t fit everything. It breaks my heart that I had to leave off gems like Eastbound and Down and Boardwalk Empire but I’ve tried to narrow it down to the best/most-talked about shows that are on TV at the moment.
Here’s everything you need to know about what you should be watching RIGHT NOW:
DRAMA
1. Breaking Bad
Arguably the greatest drama of all time, Breaking Bad follows main character Walter White, a brilliant high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in the first episode.
He uses his knowledge to manufacture and sell meth to try and build a nest-egg for his family before he dies. The last episode airs next week, which is probably why anyone you know who watches the show is an emotional wreck right now.

Sooooooo who just watched the series finale of Breaking Bad? Are we coping alright?
I thought it was a fantastic ending and wrapped everything up really well!
Breaking Bad best tv drama I have ever watched . I enjoyed Homeland until I watched the 2 seasons of the Israeli Prisoners of War - the American version is based on this. I thought it excellent and seemed far more believable than the US series. Clare Danes character irritates the life out of me,
I can't stand Clare Danes!!
Clare Danes's facial expressions just do my head in. I have a soft spot for her (I have done since Romeo + Juliet back in the day!), but those weird wobbly chin grimace things she does are just.....strange!
Fantastic show though.
