Yep, weddings just got even more batsh!t crazy.
If you’re already filing for bankruptcy after forking out for a hen’s day and wedding present (not to mention a wedding outfit and travel and accommodation expenses), look away now.
This is the invitation you never want to receive.
Simply buy a card, enclose a cheque and post it off, it instructs.

I don't think saying wedding are a blanant grab for cash is a fair call at all. I'm planning my wedding and it's costing me a lot of money. Of course it my choice I'm doing it because I want the day to be special and want my friends and family there to share it with me. Not because I want their money. The above is a blanant grab for cash but very unfair to say weddings in general are. Baby showers on the other hand.....
She said wedding Showers are a gift grab. Not the wedding itself
I don't mind wishing wells, but I do dislike cheesy poems. If a couple have set up their home and have a mortgage, the I don't mind giving a cash gift. My cousin had a tasteful card, and stressed there was no need to donate at all and she set it up with some lovely old family photos, including her late father, to whom she had been close.
