A newly engaged couple has learned the very valuable lesson of ‘crop before you post’ this week.
Clearly overjoyed after promising to marry, the young couple posted a loved-up photo together to Facebook. Bride-to-be, Miranda Levy, shared the photo with her friends, adding, “I am truly blessed today as the love of my life has asked me to marry him”.
There was just one small oversight, though. In her hurried excitement, Ms Levy didn’t notice what was lingering in the left-hand corner of the photograph.
Yep, that would be a pregnancy test.
And it certainly did not go unnoticed by Amanda Levy’s Facebook friends.
What followed? Only a brilliant series of posts that document Miranda’s light-bulb moment, of course! (Bless you, social media, bless you.)
The moral of this story? Crop, people, crop. The cropping tool is RIGHT THERE ON YOUR PHONE. It seems to get pretty lonely these days, so put it to use every once in a while. Especially when there’s a rogue pregnancy test in the corner of your happy snap.
Congratulations to the newly engaged couple/parents to be.
Have you ever had a photo cropping mishap?
