The 28-year-old has been heavily criticised for her unconventional parenting style, ever since she revealed that her two-year-old daughter spends most weekends with her husband’s mother.
“Every weekend (Violet) goes to Mish’s mum’s house, and we get our weekend to ourselves. I think that’s incredibly healthy for the relationship. And on Sunday, when we pick her up, we have 100 per cent energy back,” Finch told Sunday Style magazine.
At the time, Finch received widespread criticism, with many labelling her as lazy and selfish.
The shaming didn’t stop when Rachael revealed she was pregnant with baby number two last week. Alongside messages of congratulations for the happy couple – who met while working together on Dancing With The Stars – others were less than impressed the pair was adding to their family.

Relax people, the grand-mother in the picture is MY mother who is Violet's great grand-mother. Any nasty comments about my mother are NOT welcome, thanks!
Your mum seems pretty cool Colleen, don't sweat it :o)
My partner and I often have weekends/nights or whole week holidays on our own and our children spend that time with their grandparents. They age from 17 to 7 and a perfectly fine. Plus, having this time to our selves does wonders for our relationship and we are super grateful for having such wonderful parents who love spending this extra time with their grandchildren. Our children do not miss out on holidays or weekends away at all, its all about balance and doing what works/is right for your family.
Exactly, this phenomenon of children first before everything is a recent thing. Kids grow up and then what have you got if you've been ignoring each other. The rise of divorces among the fifty plus age group would bear this out.
