Teachers write a beautiful letter to the students ahead of NAPLAN testing.

“This test does not assess all of what makes each of you exceptional and unique.”

Teachers from St Paul’s Primary school have sent a letter home with their students ahead of this years NAPLAN testing.

The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) tests basic literacy and numeracy skills in order to ensure that students are progressing as expected within the current curriculum.\

The year three teachers at St Paul’s wanted to let their students know that this test, and any academic testing is not going to test every thing about them.

Here is the letter…

If your kids are preparing to take the NAPLAN test, or if they will at some stage in the future, be sure to let them know:

These tests may be able to score your reading and your writing, but “They can’t tell you how amazingly special you are.”
