Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's relationship trick you might not want to try.

Australian sweethearts, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have been together for 10 years. So when they dish on what they do to keep their spark alive, we stop and listen. Kidman revealed the pair often spend time apart due to their busy schedules, but they have a remedy that apparently keeps that love pumping.

So get ready for it…

They never send text messages to each other.

Yep. That’s it.

What works for them seems like pure torture for us… Instead Kidman says her and Urban call each other, so they can hear each other’s voices.

Well, that’s kinda cute.

"My husband and I never text each other. We never do," Kidman told DuJour. "Once in a blue moon, we'll text. But mainly we say, 'I want to hear your voice.' That's very unusual but we've been together for 10 years. We started like that and we haven't changed it," she said.

It makes perfect, romantic sense but we're just not sure we could do it. We rely on text messaging way too much. Ain't nobody got time to answer a phone call. Do they?

"We don't email each other either. So it's about trying to keep it as intimate and personal as possible," Kidman told the luxury publication.

However, Kidman is not completely against the finger tapping way of communication. She admits that she uses it to keep in touch with her children.

"I have four children, so to stay in touch with them, it's very important," Kidman told DuJour. "I'm definitely engaged in it but I don't let it rule my life," she said.

Kidman is a mother to Sunday, seven and Faith, four who are fathered by Urban. She also has two older children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, Isabella, 22 and Connor, 20. Both her elder kids live with their father so it's even more vital to keep constant contact over the phone with them. Text messages are the best way 'definitely' Kidman admits.

Kidman gushed about her family and the commitment she and her husband have to their relationship. He recently flew to London from America to see Nicole Kidman in the opening of her current production, Photograph 51.

"I'm lucky that we have such a strong family unit. I have an incredible husband who is so willing to get on planes and fly places, even if it's for a night," she told DuJour.
