Yesterday, a beautiful boy’s short life was ended in a tragic accident at his Perth home.
Reef, who was just 21 months old, died after a chest of drawers he was climbing fell on top of him.
His mother, Skye, made the horrific discovery on Tuesday afternoon, WA Today reports.
Reef could not be revived, despite the desperate attempts of his family and neighbours.
His father, Jason, was working at a mine when he received the devastating news.
Today, the grieving duo banded together to warn other parents of the dangers of unanchored household furniture.

This is something I worry about quite a bit. I live in a rental house and we are not allowed to anchor furniture to the wall meaning we can only tilt the furniture back a bit using small wedges to make it harder to tip. It's an issue that should get more attention. I think in America all furniture that can tip legally has to be sold with an anchor kit, we should do the same here.
You could install latches on the drawers to stop the kid pulling them out to climb on. And take off the knobs to replace them with low profile fatter ones. Or make it clear to your kids that they are never to climb on furniture under any circumstances.
