The homecoming smooch that everyone’s been talking about. Marine Sgt. Brandon Morgan returned to Hawaii from Afghanistan to be greeted by his partner of four years, Dalan Wells, and said he didn’t even realise the photo – which has gone viral since it was snapped on Feb 22 – was being taken. It comes after the first same-sex Navy kiss which we wrote about here.
In an interview later that week Morgan said: “To everyone who has responded in a positive way. My partner and I want to say thank you. Dalan, the giant in the photo, can’t believe how many shares and likes we have gotten on this. We didn’t do this to get famous,or something like that we did this cause after 3 deployments and four years knowing each other, we finally told each other how we felt.”
Also this week, the pictures of Lady Gaga before she was Lady Gaga, the magazine cover of Katy Perry that looks noting like Katy Perry, and the American actress who has been cast a Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City prequel
Take a look.

do you know what I love about this picture of the returning soldier - is that the big strongly muscled soldier is being picked up by the non marine! I love it. Made me smile immediately. True love what a wonderful thing :)
I don't like the photo of Brandon and Dalan. Its makes me cringe.
I don't like public displays of affection, and jumping into someones arms is definitely that. Obviously its a photo so its hards to see how long the kiss went for but it looks as if it went for a while.
Ewwww.
Couldn't care less if they were male or female, straight, gay or transgender.
Some things should be private.
rude
What is 'rude' about her comment?
What consenting adults do behind closed doors is their business but I find public displays off putting and homosexual ones more so.
Sorry, I was born that way. Let's start celebrating the 'minority group' of people who are born to feel uncomfortable about having homoerotic imagery shoved in our faces.
I'm so sick of having to applaud gays like they're so incredibly special and adorable.
