Every day, this 10-year-old Filipina girl – named ‘Sweetie’ – helps identify pedophiles from all over the world. Sweetie logs onto her computer and men flock to her in the hope that she will perform sexual acts for them via her webcam.

What the pedophiles don’t know? Sweetie isn’t real.
She is a computer-generated image that children’s rights group ‘Terre Des Hommes’ in the Netherlands have created to put an end to child exploitation.
Webcam child sex tourism is a new phenomenon that is spreading across the globe. Men from first-world countries are paying children in poor countries to perform sexual acts for them online. The Sweetie Project has so far proven to be an effective method of trapping these men in the act.

You can help put an end to child abuse and sexual exploitation by heading to the Bravehearts site here. Bravehearts aims to ‘Educate, Empower and Protect Our Kids.’ Their telephone counselling support and information service is available nationally via their free call number 1800 BRAVE 1 (1800 272 831).

Couldn't find where to sign? This looks promising too. Does anyone know how to sign and share?
I want this to be a thing...but I also want MORE. Like...why are these children REALLY vulnerable? The answer to that is poverty. They're fucking poor, and they need to survive. They need food & shelter & formal education and or vocational training, when appropriate their parents too.
