Update:
A body has been found in Melbourne’s east, near Mullum Mullum Creek in Donvale.
Police say it is believed to be missing woman Penny Bailey.
Homicide squad detectives found the body on Thursday at around 7:10pm.
It has not been formally identified but police said they believed it was the 59-year-old, whose son has been arrested.

A 34-year-old Melbourne man has been arrested after his mother went missing in what is believed to be another case of suspected family violence.
Homicide Detectives yesterday appealed to the public to be on the look out for 34-year old Stephen Bailey who was last seen on Tuesday cycling away from the townhouse he shared with his mother.
Overnight he was arrested by police in the Melbourne CBD and he remains in hospital with unknown injuries.
Police released CCTV images yesterday of Mr Bailey after his mother 59-year-old Penny Bailey disappeared.
Mrs Bailey was reported missing on Tuesday night after her daughters forced entry into the townhouse after unsuccessful attempts were made to contact her.
They reported a “disturbance” and “signs of a struggle” in the home.
Det Insp Mick Hughes said yesterday “There is concern from what we witnessed at that scene.”
