UPDATE: 2-year-old girl found safe and well.

UPDATE: The 2-year-old girl who was previously reported missing has now been found safe and well.

Two adults are now reportedly assisting police with their inquiries.

Police have released images of a man and woman who may be able to assist with the investigation into the abduction of a 2-year-old girl, who was taken from Sancroft Street, Willowbank around 8pm last night.

The authorities believe that 21-year-old Lisa Maree Carroll and 42-year-old Michael Kenneth Winning might be able to provide assistance to the investigation. The pair are known to the child, and they are being urged to contact the police.

Anyone with information should call the Child Abduction Alert hotline on 131 564.

Police are urgently reaching out to the public in regards to the disappearance of a two-year-old girl abducted from her home in Ipswich, just west of Brisbane.

Authorities have spent the night looking for the toddler, after she was taken from her property in Sancroft Street, Willowbank,  just after 8pm yesterday.

Currently, police are looking for three males and a female seen in a white Holden Commodore and silver Mitsubishi Sedan, who were in the area near the time of the toddler’s disappearance.

Senior Sergeant Robbie Goodger has said: “It’s obviously a distressing time for the families involved and we’re using all resources at this time in an attempt to locate the girl”.

The girl is described as caucasian in appearance, with blue eyes and curly blonde hair.
