It’s that time of the week again as Mamamia comes to you on Sky News (you can see episode one hereand episode two here)
We’ve pulled together a star line-up to see what people are really talking about. If you’re on Twitter you can join in the conversation using the hashtag #MMSky or you can jump into the comments below. It’s just like we normally do things: what do you think, do you agree, disagree?
It’s no fun if you don’t let us know. We’ll update the topics live as they’re discussed on air.
Without further ado, let’s introduce you to the guests:

It was quite offputting having Kristina to your left - it really looked liked you ignored her a lot. I don't acutally think she got to add much value either, which is disappointing as I think she would have had a lot to offer.
The clips were a little weirdly interspersed and there was definately a sound issue.
It just dosen't quite....flow? But I think as JJ mentioned below thats because the sterility of Sky is brilliant for PM Live and not quite right for mamamia live.
In general the program comes across like something that a couple of year ten students have thrown together at the last minute for their media studies assignment. The production standards are poor. As a news magazine program, MM Live has yet to hit the ground running. It is driven by ego rather than standards.
I agree with you. In several cases the sound quality was poor. As an opinion for hire, on The Today Show, Mia is credible. When working to a script, flogging a nationally known brand of toys Mia is also credible. As an interviewer...she is to the art of interviewing what Pia Zadora is to the art of acting.
I honestly keep on waiting for the show to get better. So....I wait.
The production values keep going down, down, down. I found it rather distracting that someone had chosen to eat their dinner within range of the microphone. For nearly the entire duration of the show I heard the unmistakable sound of a knife and fork hitting a plate.
Where was the director ? Where was the producer ? Surely this sound would have been picked up in the booth and someone should have been dispatched to locate the source and have it silenced. But no. On it went.
The first segment went on for way too long. For sure, three different topics but nonetheless all three were interrelated. Nothing new came from the discussion. Would have enjoyed and appreciated more time given to the subject in the final segment. Technology has become all controlling, so a bit more time should have been allowed for discussion. It could have been a very interesting session.
How many weeks to go ?
yes! i actually muted to see if it was one of my neighbours eating that clinking was so loud!
