It’s been a long, hard road for Liz Ellis and her partner in recent years.
But tonight, former netball star, coach and media personality Liz Ellis announced live on The Project that she is expecting her second child after four gruelling years of IVF and three miscarriages.
“It’s been four long years, I’ve had five rounds of IVF and three miscarriages, but finally, I am pregnant,” Ellis happily announced.

YAY - congratulations xx
wow - congratulations to Liz and her partner. Being an IVF mum to one child I know what she has gone through, and the pain of multiple cycles and miscarriages( 18 cycles all up and 8 miscarriages. from 6 to 18 weeks gestation ) what I do take offence to is the Mummamia comment when posting on facebook "no one deserves it more'". In 5 words you have with one brush stroke made all the 'non-celebrity'' couples struggling through this process as unworthy. A statement made by someone I can only assume has never struggled with infertility and miscarriage. A very insensitive comment.
