1. Is Rihanna the new Princess Diana? UK Magazine The Sunday Times certainly thinks so. Writer Camille Paglia argues in the mag that not since Diana has a celebrity had such a love affair with the world press; alternatively capitalising on the power that her position provides, or being hounded by the press.
From The Sunday Times:
Rihanna is in love with the camera, and the camera is in love with her. Not since Diana rocketed from a shy, plump kindergarten aide to a lean, mean fashion machine has there been such a ravishingly seductive flirtation with the world press.
Like Diana, Rihanna has worryingly drifted into using photo ops to send messages of allure, defiance, or revenge in a turbulent relationship with an errant partner. Rihanna, another victim of a festering romantic triangle, has bounced dizzyingly back and forth in her checkered affair with rapper Chris Brown, who was convicted of a felony in 2009 for abusing her.
Rihanna’s relationship with Instagram has certainly been well-documented by, well, herself. From early photos hinting that her relationship with Chris Brown was being rekindled, to snaps from life on tour, she has opened her private life up to the public. Proving the The Sunday Times‘ point, Rihanna instagrammed photos of the magazine’s cover as soon as she acquired a copy.
And in another picture, “badgirlriri” wrote…
3. Hugh Grant has become a father again. After welcoming daughter Tabitha into the world in 2011, Grant, 52, became a dad for the second time on December 29 – although the baby wasn’t registered until Valentine’s Day.
Grant and his partner, Tinglan Hong, 33, have reportedly named their new bub Felix Chang. Naturally, Grant communicated the news directly to the public via Twitter.

I just wish Coco Madamoiselle worked like that for me... *sigh* ;-)
I find it concerning that Rihanna believes her own hype (or at least seems to...). The journalist who wrote the story and various editors who approved it must have known it was a controversial statement and would therefore sell papers. Newspapers are in the business of selling newspapers. When they write about celebrities, they're not really focussed on reflecting the truth.
