It is possible.
Waking up on a Sunday morning and knowing you have the whole day ahead to relax is a fairly unbeatable feeling, but sadly that feeling is usually gone first thing on Monday.
Suddenly there are alarms to set, crushing traffic jams to conquer, deadlines to meet and curfews we must set ourselves each night so that we can do it all over again.
It’s a world away from Sunday, that perfect day we devote to activities that are both relaxing AND fulfilling.
But what if we could stop putting so much expectation on that one day of the week to make us happy and relaxed, and instead build a little bit of Sunday into our entire week?

Sounds like rubbish, doesn’t it? But it might be as easy as doing these things:
1. Having the ‘Sunday roast’ on a Thursday.
That’s right, who said you could only have a roast on a Sunday? No one, that’s who. Nothing is stopping you from popping a leg of lamb into the oven when you get home on a Thursday and sitting down to eat the fruit of your labour whilst watching The Bachelor.

2. Take the time read the Sunday paper over a cup of coffee.
So it won’t be the Sunday paper. It might be the Monday or Wednesday edition, but whichever one it is, try to sit down with a hand-held paper with no devices and no outside interference each day, and just actually read the words like you do on a weekend. Make yourself a cup of coffee, sit down and relax. It just takes a few minutes.
3. Enjoy a smashed avocado brunch – every day.
Sundays are notorious for their brunches (mostly because no one rises in time for breakfast). But imagine if, instead of scoffing your lunch at your desk during the work week, you took some time a little bit earlier in the day to head to a café for a little smashed avocado on toast and a chat with a work mate, just like you would do on a Sunday. Perfection.

If I treated everyday like Sunday morning, I'd be switching between hugging the porcelain bowl and lying in bed drinking powerade.
Aw man. I love Sunday feels! I try to get up a little earlier during the week so I can have my first coffee in bed (or instead of washing my hair). :)
