The American Music Awards on Monday gave us many things — Chrissy Teigen’s sky-high split dress and Gigi Hadid’s divisive impersonation of Melania Trump to name but a couple.
But there’s one thing the awards ceremony didn’t give us, and that’s one Kylie Jenner.
The youngest Kardashian/Jenner family member had planned to waltz down the red carpet with her celebrity peers, but was forced to bail on the event for the cutest possible reason: PUPPIES.
The 19-year-old’s Italian greyhound Bambi had been, well, unexpectedly knocked up by the star’s other dog Norman, and the puppies decided to show up this week.
“I just wasn’t planning on breeding my dogs. It only takes one time, people,” Kylie told a Twitter follower who’d asked whether she knew Bambi was with child (well… ‘with puppy’, in this instance).
Proud mum Bambi delivered two "blue and fawn [coloured]" pups, both of which Kylie will be keeping.
Regardless of the fact she didn't expect to be a fur-grandmother quite so soon, if at all, the Lip Kit founder seems chuffed with the two new arrivals.
"The best accidents to ever happen," she labelled a picture of the puppies on Snapchat.
She also shared a video of a weary-looking Bambi feeding her babies.
