While everyone else in Hollywood is cutting their hair into lobs, Jessica Chastain is rocking long hair, and now a ’60s-inspired fringe.
Not since Zooey Deschanel swept back her fringe at The Met Ball has there been such a dramatic forehead curtain change in celeb-land.
Jessica, who is best known for her roles in Zero Dark Thirty and The Help, looks like a totally different person. A totally sexy-sex-bomb different person.
The 37-year-old, who usually styles her red, Jessica Rabbit-esque hair into a side-sweep or centre part on the red carpet, used ’60s icon Brigitte Bardot as her hairspiration for the cut.
Since a hair transformation didn’t happen if it wasn’t uploaded on Instagram, Jessica shared a pic of her new ‘do over the weekend.
“Someone got a haircut courtesy of @renatocampora #hair #genius #brigittebardot #60s #fashion #iloveitsomuch,” she captioned the photo.
And just a warning: If you are considering a hair change, looking at this next picture will make you want to cut a fringe immediately.
Lucky for us, Jessica’s hairdresser, Renato Campora, also uploaded his own photo of the cutting session so that we can see it from another angle.

The actress has also swapped her usual metallic smoky eye and neutral lip makeup combo for thick cat eyeliner and bright pink lipstick.
