Jesinta Campbell has smacked down ‘rumours’ that she’s pregnant in the classiest way possible.
Tongues started wagging after Jesinta was photographed with a ‘pregnancy bump’, despite it being much more likely the photos revealed a much-loved, partially-digested chicken burrito. Or, whatever her lunch equivalent was.
Regardless, the rumours have bubbled away for weeks. And now, for the first time since the Daily Mail asked Jesinta “what are you trying to hide?”, the 24-year-old model has responded to the speculation.
“[It’s] a bad photo,” the recently announced Olay ambassador told Fairfax last night.
“A baggy T-shirt and a bit of wind blowing.”
Yep.
For Jesinta, a razor sharp focus on her body, and her relationship with AFL star fiancé Buddy Franklin, 29, is all part of her career.
“It’s part of the parcel that comes with this [job]… Sometimes things upset me but the good far outweighs the bad. For me it’s water off a duck’s back.”
The former Miss Universe Australia says gossip about pregnancy doesn’t just affect her – but women everywhere.
“It’s a really sensitive question for women – that’s why I would never ask a woman about it because you never know what is happening.”

Even if she is pregnant - it's no one's business to force her to announce it before she / they are ready to.
By asking she either has to deny it (truly wrong) or admit it before time. Or say 'no comment' which is pretty much a forced admission.
Stop speculating, stop asking women this question. If a woman, Jesinta included, is pregnant, you'll find out sooner or later.
