Bindi Irwin's cryptic message for fans hints at growing family feud.

Australia’s favourite daughter, Bindi Irwin, has become somewhat of a social media sensation in the past year.

Ever since being crowned the winner on the 21st US season of Dancing With The Stars, the daughter of Terri Irwin and the late Steve Irwin, has amassed over 1.1 million followers on Instagram.

The 17-year-old has kept followers enthralled with pictures of her and her boyfriend, Chandler Powell and snaps of her family-run business, Australia Zoo.

Yet, yesterday the teen posted a cryptic quote to the platform, "Blood makes you related, loyalty makes you family." The quote was captioned #ThoughtToday.

Fans speculated Irwin was throwing shade at her estranged grandfather, Bob Irwin, after it was revealed just a few days ago he's been supporting Wildlife HQ, a rival of Australia Zoo.

Fingers are also pointing to Steve Irwin's brother-in-law, Frank Muscillo, after the long-time manager of Australia Zoo was also 'marched off site' and has left his position after an apparent row with Terri, according to The Courier Mail.

Another theory was Irwin and her boyfriend Powell had split.

Fans lashed out at Iriwn, with user @emma_louise_bowen saying, "Think about and become close to your grandfather and stop being brainwashed by your mother."

Another, @12jess said, "I feel really sorry for your dads family. I wonder how your dad is feeling looking down on it all."

The true meaning behind the quote is unknown, is Irwin throwing shade at her family? Or her boyfriend? Perhaps she's just being a regular teen and fans are reading too much into it.
