She’s one of the world’s most successful musicians and boasts properties in Manhattan, Rhode Island and Nashville, yet it was her L.A. home Taylor Swift chose to open to Vogue‘s film crew.
Filming Vogue‘s signature webseries ’73 Questions’, Swift wanders loftily around her Beverly Hills ‘bungalow’, taking the camera man to a few carefully selected rooms she definitely probably didn’t have professionally cleaned before they arrived.
The one-shot, nine minute video (which I’ve watched so you don’t have to), begins with the interviewer asking if this house is where she keeps all of her awards. “I like to spread them out,” Swift says as we get an artful shot of her in her ‘writing room’, with a plethora of trophies in the background.
As we wander into the kitchen, the interviewer asks what Taylor’s favourite cake is, and suddenly we are gifted with our first name-drop, “My friends got me a cake from Milk Bar for my 25th birthday, it was so good even Jay Z raved about it.”
