First, the crown went to Freddie Flintoff. A year later, Brendan Fevola was named king of the jungle.
As of Monday night, we have a third I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here Australia champion. And it’s finally, FINALLY a woman.
Australia, bow down to your queen of the jungle: Casey Donovan. And what a deserving queen she is.
Donovan’s victory grants her lifelong bragging rights — how many people can say they’ve won two reality TV competitions? — but it also represents $100,000 worth of prize money for her chosen charity, the Starlight Foundation.
Monday’s finale saw the show’s three remaining contestants, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Dane Swan and Donovan, subjected to one last physical challenge. (Surely they didn’t think they’d escape with their dignity in tact…?)
Thankfully, this time there was a slightly more exciting reward waiting for them afterwards than a few hunks of meat for dinner.

What a drawn-out debacle last night's finale was! Talk about trying to milk all the advertising revenue they could. This show held so much promise, the first two series were irreverent and interesting, was a great show the whole family could watch. But this series had boring celebrities, predictable repetitive challenges, obvious editing to invent controversy and the ads...unbelievable!! Definitely won't commit to weeks of this show again.
