She's a Homewrecker.com exists and it's exactly as foul as you'd expect

A new website has exploded in popularity in the the US, and it’s causing a lot of controversy along the way.

Shesahomewrecker.com does pretty much what the creative name implies – exposes ‘homewreckers’.

Shesahomewrecker.com is exposing everyone from the Hollywood Homewrecker to the average white picket fence destroying women who just can’t seem to let go of your husbands and boyfriends! So… At the the risk of pissing off a bunch of ladies who are clearly already a tad on edge, let’s break down a few of  the issues here:

1. Why the friggin frig aren’t the men being targeted? Their penises don’t just fall into these ladies’ laps. The concept of men being completely complicit and innocent bystanders in their own affairs is a concerning one.

2. There is massive potential for misuse: Niether the identity of the accuser or solid proof is requied to post a picture. You could go through a messy break-up and find yourself on the site having done nothing wrong.

3. There are no guidelines in place. All you have to do is push that enticing pink button and you can strip someone of their privacy and slander their name within seconds. The profiles include full names, locations and photos. The Facebook page has 250,000 likes alone – who knows how many clicks the website is getting. That’s a LOT of angry people, all able to easily find the women listed if they really want to.

And it doesn’t look like the website has any intention of slowing down either; they’ve been polling visitors about possible t-shirt designs and slogans:

So is it fair? Does a woman who sleeps with another woman’s partner really deserve to not only be humiliated, but have her safety put at risk? What is an appropraite reaction?
