We needed to hear some light, fluffy news today. So this TV announcement is more than welcome.
She participated in last season of Australia’s The Bachelor. She was actually engaged to man-of-the-hour Blake Garvey before their love crumbled in the post-tv world. Now, she’s back for a second shot at love.
Yes — The Bachelorette is…
SAM FROST.
After being jilted days after Bachelor Garvey proposed to her last year, Frost must be relieved that she’s the one who now has the final choice as Australia’s first Bachelorette?
“I obviously have no idea who the guys are, I put my trust in the team when I told them I want some genuine guys … what if the same thing happens again? It would be pretty embarrassing,” she told the Daily Telegraph.
Frost became international news when she was dumped by Garvey for second runner-up Louise Pillidge just days after filming ended.

The news that gorgeous Sam will be Australia’s first Bachelorette comes as a bit of a shock, after the star said she would hate the job following the humiliating end to her engagement.
“I just want to move forward,” she told the Herald Sun at the time.
“I couldn’t think of anything worse than being The Bachelorette to be honest.”
The controversy kept coming after that broken engagement, with Frost auctioning off her engagement ring for $31,720, posing for Maxim ion a skimpy bikini and allegedly dating AFL player Dane Rampe.
But we’re not complaining — we can’t wait to see bubbly Sam on our screens for another season.
In a statement released by Network Ten, Frost is equally excited about her TV return.

“I want to find a man who will love me for everything I am, and everything I’m not, and someone who is genuine, down to earth and has great values,” she said.
“I’m really excited about this next stage of my life and believe the right man for me is just around the corner.”

Ugh, noone liked her that much when she was on The Bachelor, now we have to put up with her as The Bachelorette??
As much as I would have loved to see Laurina become the Bachelorette, really I think the best option would have been someone new entirely, a successful businesswoman who hasn't previously had time to work on her love life, or something. I'm not sure what really "qualifies" Sam to be the Bachelorette. It kind of just feels like she's desperate to keep the attention on her rolling after everyone stopped caring about her breakup with bachie
She looks and acts about 17! Far too young and unsophisticated for Bachelorette.
