If your name is Blake, you may as well just quit now.
When you get very publicly dumped on national TV after a failed dating show, most people would be a bit cautious about doing it again. But not Sam Frost, obviously.
We found out yesterday that last year’s rejectee (and the luckiest woman alive because of it), 25-year-old Sam, is going to be Australia’s first Bachelorette. And she’s going to do things differently this time.
Sam appeared on The Project last night to chat about why she possibly wanted to put herself through the horror of attempting to find love on a reality show yet again.
“I thought about it for a really long time,” she said.
“Despite the ending, I had the best time.”
Sam told The Project panel what she’s looking for this time around – basically, anyone whose name is not Blake – and gave some advice for the guys competing for her attention.
Related: Sam Frost just sold her $58,000 engagement ring for a LOT of money.
“As soon as they walk out of the car and if they say, ‘I’m Blake,’ I’d be like ‘Cool, get out, just go’,” she said.
“Definitely be yourself – I think one of the biggest things that I hate in guys is when they try and sell themselves, it’s like, ‘Oh I’ve got this great job and I’ve got these great things,’ and it’s like ‘Cool who are you as a person, I want to talk about your life and you and not all the things you have because I’ve got a beat-up Hyundai Getz so it’s not very appealing.'”
Classic Bogan Sam.
All things aside, she’s pretty nervous. Probably because, you know, last year she was publicly humiliated on TV. But hey, we’re sure she’ll be fine.
“It’s quite nerve-wracking being The Bachelorette. Like, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I’m just going to wing it, I guess.”
Here’s hoping this season is a bit more successful than last.
