CELEB NEWS: Miranda Kerr goes topless for Harper's Bazaar.

Miranda Kerr has given her first interview post-split from Orlando Bloom in this month’s issue of Australian Harper’s Bazaar and no, there’s no mention of James Packer.

“It’s difficult for anyone to go through a separation, whether it’s on a public scale or not. It was important for us long-term to preserve our friendship and the dynamic of being loving parents to Flynn so we dealt with everything openly and honestly,” Kerr said.

“We respect each other and with respect comes understanding. When there’s understanding, I guess everything is a little more harmonious.

“We’re still very big parts of each other’s lives. There’s no reason for us to be anything but a united front. We still love and care for each other deeply.”

The 30-year-old posed topless for the magazine and insisted that she and Bloom will remain friends for the sake of their two-year-old son, Flynn.

“Flynn is the most important thing in both our lives. And because we share that bond, we both feel it’s important to be united.”

Adam Boland speaks out about his highly-publicised breaks from Wake Up.

Executive producer of Channel 10’s Wake Up, Adam Boland, has spoken out about his bipolar diagnosis, and subsequent “breakdown” following the debut of the breakfast show.

In a piece published on The Hoopla today, Boland talks candidly about the show’s premiere saying he felt “nothing but darkness.”

The last time Boland had felt like this was in 2007 when he launched The Morning Show on Channel Seven, and it had debuted at number one.

While everyone else was celebrating at Larry Emdur’s house Boland was “at home, hiding behind a couch in a foetal position,” he goes on to say, “My then-partner had seen enough. The constant mood swings had taken their toll. It was time to seek help.”

Boland says the breakdown he suffered last month was worse than anything he’d ever experienced:

“It involved police, an ambulance and time confined to a ward that I never want to see again. (For the record, I think the concept of locking up someone whose mind already feels trapped does nothing to help.)”

During his well-publicised break from Wake Up, Boland was told to “man up” on social media and was horrified his own show “trivialised” Jonathon Trott’s (the English cricketer who flew back home) mental illness.

“It genuinely saddens me that many people still don’t see mental illness in the same way they’d view any other form of sickness.”

“Many people with mental illness already feel guilty. That shouldn’t be compounded by the ignorance of others.”

Cheezels and booze: How Katy Perry got over Russell Brand.

By eating cheese flavoured snacks and drinking a lot.

Katy Perry has revealed to Marie Claire that’s how she coped in the weeks following her highly publicized divorce from Russell Brand.

“There were two weeks of my life after I found out the truth of my marriage where I was like, ‘Okay. Alright. I can’t feel this. This is too intense right now.’ I was, like, just eating Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and drinking, and that’s it,” Perry said.

“There are two ways you can go: You can either nurture yourself or go destructive. I have gone down the destructive path before, and that didn’t work for me.

“You dig deep beyond those scars and find that soft tissue again, and you massage and nurture it and bring it to life, little by little, through serving yourself well. I did it through hikes and vitamins and therapy and prayer and good friends.”

Bye bye Bieber, we won’t miss you.

Justin Bieber is making headlines again for all the wrong reasons: this time it’s not for his awful graffiti but for calling a young girl a “beached whale” at the Park Hyatt in Perth.

Helen Robinett witnessed the singer verbally abusing a young girl in a bikini, who was poolside with a small group of friends, this is her account:

“One girl who was gorgeous looking, with long dark hair and would have been about a size 14. Justin looked over at her and said ‘What are you, Hawaiian or something?’ She said ‘No, I’m not’. Then he said ‘You look like a beached whale’ … The girl said ‘Are you serious’ and he said ‘You should go on The Biggest Loser.’ … The whole pool deck heard him call this beautiful young girl a beached whale. Everyone heard. And there was silence. It was almost like his security were used to it.”

The girl next to me said ‘I can’t believe he just said that, he’s my idol’ and I said ‘Well get yourself a new idol.'”

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Helen.

Paul Rudd and Jason Segel are definitely stoned in this interview.

A video from 2009 has surfaced of an interview Paul Rudd and Jason Segel gave to Rotten Tomatoes when promoting their “I Love You Man,” it’s random, it’s funny and we’re pretty sure they’re stoned.

The interview hits a weird point when talk turns to “unicorns that haunt your dreams” and Segel later says “I’m hungry,” before falling off his chair.

Sound of Music star dies.

Sound of Music star Eleanor Parker has died at age 91.

A family friend confirmed the news that Eleanor Parker died on Monday morning due to complications from pneumonia.

“She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children at a medical facility near her home in Palm Springs,” Richard Gale said.

Parker played Baroness Schraeder in 1965’s The Sound of Music, in which her character famously loses Christopher Plummer to Julie Andrews.

Sound of Music co-star Christopher Plummer said in a statement: “Eleanor Parker was and is one of the most beautiful ladies I have ever known. Both as a person and as a beauty. I hardly believe the sad news for I was sure she was enchanted and would live forever.”
