Well, this is intense.
Some particularly strange news has come out in a recent interview with London’s Telegraph.
Hollywood actress-turned-disaster Lindsay Lohan claims that, during her court-ordered community service stint at a Los Angeles morgue, she had to wheel in the body of Whitney Houston after her 2012 drowning in a hotel bathtub.
In the extensive interview, Lindsay said she was working 12-hour-shifts at the morgue as a sentence from a drink-driving and probation violation. Somehow, amidst her janitorial duties, she was ordered to wheel in Whitney Houston’s dead body.
According to Lindsay, it was “F****d up and inappropriate – because a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like: ‘No, they can’t handle it. Lohan can.’ It’s different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a body bag for Whitney Houston.”
It’s the latest in a long list of ‘Worrisome Things That Lindsay Lohan Has Done To Concern/Entertain The Universe’. Since being a child star in The Parent Trap, the actress went a little off the rails.
She got drunk. A lot.
She got weirdly fake-tanned and fish-lipped.
She ‘accidentally’ released a list of 36 Hollywood actors she had slept with.
She went to rehab. And then re-rehab. And then re-re-rehab. And then… you get it.
She even went to jail (for a day).
Fortunately, it seems like things are finally looking kind-of-okay for the 28-year-old actress, with a serious starring role in an upcoming David Mamet play on the West End. Whether or not she actually came across Whitney Houston in a morgue in 2012, we don’t know for certain. But Lindsay is sticking by it, and claiming it as one of the reasons she is now on the straight and narrow.
Whatever it takes, Lindsay. Whatever it takes.
