Kris Jenner is having difficulty saying goodbye to Bruce.

She’s not at the acceptance stage yet.

Now that Caitlyn Jenner’s show I Am Cait has wrapped up for this season, the drama surrounding her gender transition continues over Chez Kardashian.

The Kardashian/Jenner matriarch has understandably had difficulty accepting her former husband’s new gender and identity. She’s previously admitted she can’t call Caitlyn by her name, but rather calls her “Jenner”.

The newest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians has a preggers Kim Kardashian waddling into her mother Kris Jenner’s house hauling an armload of her stepfather’s old clothes.

It seems kind of cruel for Kim to be showing her mother clothes she bought for the man who was once her husband, but it achieves the desired effect: tears.

Kim says she has selected a range of clothing to help remind Kris of the good times they spent together.

Included are velvet suits, a Gucci jacket and a pair of shorts Bruce Jenner wore on every holiday the family took.

Kim also thoughtfully grabbed a selection of polo shirts so that each child could have one as a keepsake.

At one point, a spider falls out of the jacket which Kris suggests might be “an omen”.

“I realised that I still have a long way to go before I can process all of this and understand. And seeing all these clothes and realising that Bruce is throwing them out makes it real,” she says in a piece to camera.

Kim grabs a plaid shirt. “This he wore on our Burberry Christmas card,” she says.

“Yeah. A long time ago,” says Kris, sniffing deeply of the shirt. “It smells like him.”

Burberry Christmas cards and entire wardrobes of Polo Ralph Lauren shirts aside, the experience for Kris Jenner is akin to dealing with loss and she’s clearly in the midst of a grieving process.

“It’s just crazy that he’s gone,” Kris says.

“But he’s not. He’s not,” says Kim.

“Yeah. He’s gone.”
