1. Kim Kardashian gets a blood facial, will do anything for youth/ratings

Is there anything off limits for the Kardashian family? No, probably not.

Kourtney Kardashian gave birth on their reality show and now Kim has been filmed having a ‘vampire’ blood facial for the latest episode of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.

‘I love trying anything that makes you look and feel youthful,’ Kim said.

During the ‘beauty procedure,’ a large needle drew blood from her arm before the sample was spun in a machine to remove the platelets. The blood was then INJECTED INTO HER FACE via nine acupuncture-type needles.

Naturally, Kim had time to take a selfie and post it on Twitter mid-way through the procedure.

2. Ruby Rose kisses a guy, confuses everyone.

Ruby Rose has appeared in the latest commercial for Australian denim brand JAG celebrating their 40-year anniversary.

The commercial is your typical overly sexualised fashion advert but with a twist; the openly gay Rose is seducing a man – Miranda Kerr’s ex-boyfriend Jay Lyon.

Sure we realise that in movies gay people can play straight characters and vice versa, but does that translate to advertising?

Normally a celebrity-endorsed product is marketed in a way that convinces us that the celebrity ISN’T acting; that they really do use Proactive every day and that’s the reason they look so glorious.

It has us asking, why didn’t Jag just let her kiss a girl?

Tina Turner has landed her first Vogue cover at the age of 73. The four-time Grammy award winner gave her best blue steel for the German edition of the magazine making her the oldest covergirl on record. Meryl Streep formerly had that honour when she posed for the US edition last year at age 62.

And we have to say, doesn’t Tina Turner remarkably have the skin of a 20-year-old?

3. Fabio is that you?

Ahh… the 90s. Won’t we always remember it fondly as the time when we liked our men with long hair and wearing patterned waistcoats? Er, no probably not.

We came across this resurrected picture of Keith Urbvan via Lisa_Wilkinson’s Instagram account. She captioned the image, “Is this pic of a 90’s Keith Urban rockin’ the shirtless waistcoat look heaven or what?! Bless you Woman’s Day.”

4. Holly Madison defends her baby’s colourful name

Former Playboy Playmate, Holly Madison has defended her decision to name her baby girl Rainbow Aurora.

“I have always loved the name Rainbow. There was a girl in my school a few years younger than me named Rainbow and I was so envious of her name because it was so pretty and unusual.

“She was a perfectly normal, well-adjusted, sporty girl, by the way, so I’m not worried about my daughter being “traumatized” by having an unusual name”, Madison wrote.

Madison has hit back at the “smug-haters” of her chosen name:” I don’t care about what they think. I want my daughter to be proud of who she is and learn to speak up and stand up for herself at a young age. I spent most of my life being a people-pleaser who worried about what other people thought or thought was cool and I don’t want that for her.”

5. F-bombs heat up MKR cook-off

Sadly, father-and-son team Mick and Matt have been eliminated off My Kitchen Rules.

The Tassie team’s sudden-death cook-off against the ‘domestic goddesses’ Jenna and Joanna (the inspirated-cupcakey ones) failed to impress the judges. Their menu was a Goldilocks of technical errors; the chilli sauce ‘too sweet,’ the fish ‘too cooked,’ the cheesecake ‘too grainy’.

Both teams let off f-bombs and s-bombs in the high pressure cook off, with son Matt apologising to his dad after the show, “The highlight for me was cooking with Dad,” he told hosts Pete Evans and Manu Feildel. “I can’t wait to go home and keep cooking and keep experimenting.”
