People are confirming (they’ve heard it from multiple sources so it MUST be true), Keira Knightley and James Righton’s bouncing bub is a little girl!

Congratulations to  Keira Knightley and her husband husband James Righton who have welcomed their first baby.

Atonement star Keira Knightley has happy news with the birth of her first baby.

Thirty-year old Knightley  James Righton, the co-vocalist and keyboardist from the UK band Klaxons, are said to have had their first baby in the past week but no other details are known.

Multiple sources, including E! News and the British tabloids have reported the baby’s birth.

Knightley had previously joked to Ellen Degeneres about her birth plan.

“There isn’t an option to sort of keep it in, is there?” she joked.

“So, I’m assuming my plan is to get it out. But apparently there’s more to the plan than that. I don’t know what that is. Still, my plan is to get it out. It will come out.”

There had been rumours that Knightley’s baby had arrived last week with a Twitter user posting on the weekend she had seen the couple out in London with their new baby.

The couple – who married in 2013 at a private ceremony in southern France – recently moved into a five-bedroom house in Canonbury north London.

Knightley has spoken previously about her desire to have children, but she told Vogue in 2013 she would not give up her acting career once she became a mother.
