Kim Kardashian reponds to Mad Men star, Jon Hamm.

Kim Kardashian has responded to comments from Mad Men star Jon Jamm, after he used an interview in Elle UK magazine to express his intense dislike for reality celebrities like the Kardashians.

After Hamm called Kim a “f*cking idiot” among other things, Kim took to Twitter to say:

“I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.”

“Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated,” says Hamm. “Being a f*cking idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.”

In the same interview, Hamm also sounded off about Hollywood’s unrealistic model of “beauty,” which he believes should be closer to that of his Mad Men co-star Christina Hendricks.

“‘I think Christina Hendricks is a beautiful woman, but we live in a culture where the beauty model is significantly different from Christina’s silhouette,” says Hamm. “Those of us who live in real life realize, especially as we get older, that beauty isn’t just 22 years old, blonde, skinny with big t*ts.”
